Dam it! is a Centre for Gender Advocacy project and advocacy initiative with a clear goal in mind: getting dental dams (latex barriers that help prevent STI transmission during oral/vaginal or oral/anal sex) included as part of safer sex products offered free of charge by Quebec’s Ministry of Health.
We offer free dental dams to every person willing to fill out a confidential, anonymous online satisfaction survey after using it. This project targets people engaging in oral/vaginal sex.
*Because dental dams are not currently available free of charge, we suggest a $0.50 donation per dam if you are not able to participate in the survey. That said, we won’t turn anyone away.
