Trans Health Advocacy

The 2110 Centre for Gender Advocacy (CGA) is a trans positive centre! We take a harm-reductive approach that respects the right of individuals to make the decisions that are best for them. We advocate for equal access for all trans people to healthcare, housing, employment and community. It’s a message that we work to convey to both government and society at large.

Some of the resources that we have available for trans people include binders, a needle exchange, non-judgmental peer support, information and referrals.

Trans people often face serious barriers to accessing healthcare. We need allies in the healthcare sector! The CGA offers is happy to share information and conduct workshops for healthcare workers. Contact psa[at]centre2110.org or 514-848-2424 x7431 for more information or to schedule a workshop.

*The CGA’s Trans Health Advocacy campaign wishes to acknowledge the contribution of the Trans Health Network in developing this holistic approach to trans issues.
